We talk a lot about being disciples of Jesus, and, as followers of Jesus, this is what we are. But after the resurrection, Jesus sent his disciples out to the world to share the good news of the radical love of God Jesus revealed. Having been sent, the disciples become apostles. This year, during the season of Eastertide (the time between Easter Sunday and Pentecost Sunday), we’ll explore the concept of apostleship and consider how God is sending us to be bearers of God’s love and mercy.
