FPC has a vibrant Children's Ministry where kids learn about God and have fun doing it. We would love for your children to join us. For more information, contact Mary Park, Director of Christian Education.
Nursery: Newborns through three year-olds are welcome to attend the nursery from 8:30 am-12:15 pm while their parents attend worship and Sunday School. The nursery is staffed by four individuals with years of experience in caring for young children and have completed training through our Child and Youth Protection Policy. The nursery meets in Rooms 105 and 106.
Children’s Worship: Children age 4 through grade 1 are invited to attend Children’s Worship. This is offered during both the Open Door and Sanctuary services. Children attend the beginning of worship with their families and then are invited to exit with our Children’s Ministry staff for their own worship experience where they will engage in the biblical narrative through storytelling and play. Children can be picked up immediately after worship in Room 206.
Meets during the school year. Starts again Sunday, September 16, 2018
You are a Piece of God’s Plan!
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” - Proverbs 22:6
Sunday School for Pre-K – Grade 5
It’s so important to teach our children the word of the Lord. So bring your kids to the newly revamped Sunday School where they will explore God’s word more deeply through art, games, cooking, and interactive storytelling. Each week we’ll all gather together for opening songs, announcements, and the Bible lesson. From there kids will take part in different activities by age group to deepen the understanding of the message.
Find out more on September 9 at the “This is Us” worship service and Festival at First, where you just might get a glimpse of Moses and some dancing fruit! Then start your children off with Sunday School on September 16 in room 205.
Want to be a piece of the action? If you have musical talents, a flair for the dramatic or are simply faith-filled and fun-loving, come join our team. We know and understand the busyness of life. That’s why volunteer commitments are flexible. So if the spirit moves you, contact Mary Park at email@example.com.

A Note From Our Wee Sing and Praise Kids Choir Directors
We are so excited for a new year of music in Sunday School! Every child, age 4 through grade 2, who comes to Sunday School (9:45-10:45 am) will learn more about the lessons Jesus teaches us through songs and games. There is no sign up or extra activity to add to your weekly calendar!
The dates we will sing in Sunday Services are posted outside the Sunday School rooms and we will be in touch throughout the year. We look forward to seeing you and your family at church on Sundays.
