Infant - 5th Grade. For information on baptism, see Sacraments.

FPC has a vibrant Children's Ministry where kids learn about God and have fun doing it. We would love for your children to join us. For more information, contact Mary Park, Director of Christian Education.

Nursery: Newborns through three year-olds are welcome to attend the nursery from 8:45 am-12:15 pm while their parents attend worship and Sunday School.  The nursery is staffed by four individuals with years of experience in caring for young children and have completed training through our Child and Youth Protection Policy.  The nursery meets in Rooms 105 and 106.

Children’s Worship: Children age 4 through first grade are invited to attend Children’s Worship.  This is offered during both the Open Door and Sanctuary services.  Children attend the beginning of worship with their families and then are invited to exit with our Children’s Ministry staff for their own worship experience where they will engage in the biblical narrative through storytelling and play.  Children can be picked up immediately after worship in Room 206.

Sunday School

SUNDAY SCHOOL begins at 9:45 a.m., September 18th through May 21st!

Our children’s Sunday School classes use Deep Blue, an engaging curriculum that takes children through the Bible with fun lessons that help them become part of the story.  Each class will be using curriculum that is specifically designed for their age, so that they can encounter God through storytelling, activities, and discussions.

PRESCHOOL CLASS (ages 4-5, Room 206 )
The preschool class is using Deep Blue preschool curriculum.  A music component, Wee Sing choir, is also part of the Sunday School Hour.

GRADES K-2 (Room 207)
This class uses Deep Blue curriculum for lower elementary.  A music component, Wee Sing choir (kindergartners) and Praise Kids choir (grades 1 and 2), is also part of the Sunday School hour.

GRADES 3-5 (Room 215)
This class uses Deep Blue curriculum for upper elementary.  The class delves further into discussions and activities as children seek to encounter God in the world.

CLUB 4-5

Club 4-5 meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month beginning on September 18 from 4 to 5:30.  All fourth and fifth graders are welcome to attend as we engage in fellowship and service with one another.
