FPC Art Show, Sale & Silent Auction

Presbyterian Women

Let your creativity shine at the FPC Art Show, Sale, and Silent Auction on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 4 to 8PM. We seek FPC member artists and their non-member friends/family to show their works—for sale or just to show! Silent Auction proceeds will benefit MLK Middle School art department. Read the FAQs and register as an exhibitor below.

Art Show Exhibitor FAQs

What sort of an Art Show is this? Are things for sale? Is it a fundraiser?

The main purpose is for members of the church to learn more about the talents and creativity of their fellow members and others in the community.  Artists may sell their work (and keep some or all of the proceeds) but aren’t required to.  Funds received from the Silent Auction of pieces donated by participating exhibitors will go to the art department of Martin Luther King Middle School, one of FPC’s outreach partners in the East End of Richmond.  The main goal of the show is to have fun discovering some of the artistic talent among our members.

Who can show their art?

FPC members and non-members, all ages

For this show, what is considered “art?”

Any physical piece made through a creative process, including handcrafts, whether practical or decorative. Pieces might be paintings, textiles, pottery, woodwork, metalwork, beadwork, embroidery or many other forms (not food).

I exhibited at the 2024 FPC Art Show.  May I show the same pieces if I want to?

Yes!  That show was held midday, when many members weren’t able to exhibit or attend.  Many attendees may not have seen your art before.

Is there a deadline for artists to commit to exhibiting?   How do I let you know?

Yes!  By December 31, 2025, we want to know who our exhibitors will be.  A QR code shown on the website and in other church communications will link to an artist registration form that collects information about the exhibitor.   Potential exhibitors may also contact Linda Knisely via email (lparklyn@icloud.com) for help with registration.

I have questions that aren’t addressed here.  Who should I contact?

Contact Linda Knisely (lparklyn@icloud.com).
