FPC's Master Plan

January 22, 2025

In June of 2024, the Capital Improvements Work Group (CIWG) and the Master Plan Task Force (MPTF) revealed the results of a study over three years in the making. A master plan designed to meet the pressing needs of the church's ministries, including outreach, faith formation, and the preschool. The CIWG identified four areas of focus: Increased hospitality, support for the preschool, improving the environment, and using the space more effectively. At the direction of the Session, the MPTF then took their feedback and began the search for an architectural firm to work with to bring this vision to life. After meeting with three firms, it was decided to move forward with Hopke and Harrison (https://www.hopke.com/).

Here, you will find the presentation of the original master plan. While some elements have been adjusted after feedback from the congregation (the original porte cochere and the chapel will remain), most of what you see and hear remains true.

This page will be updated as more information and plans unfold.
