- Bible Verse: Luke 1:37
- Movies: Pay It Forward, Wild
- Books: Fiction; anything by Richard Rohr or Mark Nepo
- TV Shows: Nashville (my guilty pleasure!), The Good Wife
- Music: Folk and Irish
- For fun I like to: Go to the beach and the mountains, sing and play the guitar and Celtic harp, listen to live music.
I grew up in New Jersey with three younger brothers, came down south to William and Mary for college and never went back! I've lived in Richmond since 1980 and love the proximity both to the mountains and the ocean.
I have two sons in college (Kevin playing football at William and Mary) and Connor (at James Madison University). I came to FPC after years of being a music minister at Church of the Redeemer in Mechanicsville, VA, a position I retired from so I could be free on the weekends to visit my sons (and go to some football games!).
I am also training to become a Certified Music Practitioner on the harp and hope to play for people in hospice. I'm so happy to be part of the FPC staff, supporting Suzanne and the wonderful music program here.
