The Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) of PC(USA) responds to disasters around the world including the recent Mexico earthquakes, Hurricanes Irma, Harvey and Maria, and famine in South Sudan.

Prayers are needed for those who have been affected and for those helping to restore these communities. FYI...The Presbytery of the James is sponsoring an October 1-15 Irma Recovery Mission Trip to Tampa, Florida, with Southminster Presbyterian Church coordinating the efforts.

Financial contributions will help support the efforts to aid these people in rebuilding their lives. Please consider donating to assist those in a targeted area or a donation for general support. Donate here.

Read about the damage Hurricane Maria has inflicted on Puerto Rico. Stay in touch with news stories via PDA Facebook and learn more about projects such as assembling Gift of the Heart kits.

Your prayers and assistance are needed and appreciated.
