Journey to Hope

Tuesday, November 7
6:30 pm dinner, 7:15 pm program

Once a “Lost Boy of Sudan,” John Bul Dau is now a humanitarian, author, global scholar-in-residence at Collegiate School in Richmond, and popular motivational speaker. A husband and father of five, this gentle giant who stands six feet eight inches tall, speaks openly of his escape from South Sudan, his harrowing sojourn across Africa, and his ultimate emigration to the United States.

Presbyterian Women invite you to join us on the evening of November 7 when John will share the compelling story of his faith-filled “Journey to Hope.” For a glimpse, view his TedXRVA talk.

Dinner will be at 6:30pm in the FPC Fellowship Hall, the program in the Sanctuary at 7:15pm, and then a book signing. Please consider inviting family and friends outside our FPC family and join us for John’s talk, even if you are unable to come for dinner. Sign up for dinner below or on the Memorial Corridor bulletin board.
