The Pursers @ Living Waters for the World

FPC MEMBERS TRAVEL TO MISSISSIPPI FOR LIVING WATERS FOR THE WORLD TRAINING

Stephanie and Jim Purser recently finished a one-week training class with Living Waters for the World (LWW) in Oxford, Mississippi (Camp Hopewell) to learn how to partner with communities around the world to install and maintain such clean water systems. During the training LWW celebrated the 1000th installed system in southern Haiti earlier in September and the expectation of more systems coming on line next year.

Living Waters for the World (LWW) is a charity supported by the PC(USA) General Assembly. It is based on the belief that God intends for all people to have clean water creating communities that can be healthier, more productive, and serve Christ better. LWW trains teams from PC(USA) and other churches and groups to partner with communities in Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Africa to develop, install, and operate a sustainable source of pure water. By sharing clean water and the love of Christ with each other, partners are mutually transformed carrying out Christ’s commandment for us to “Love our neighbors”.

Thank you, Jim & Stephanie! We will all be looking forward to news about up-coming installations from our Clean Water Ministry Team.
