    • 4:00 pm Family Worship Service with children’s choirs (childcare for infants - age 3)

    • 10:00 pm Holy Communion Candlelight Worship Service with Chancel Choir and string ensemble (no childcare)

Experience Advent Special Events

  • Giving Tree (11/16 - 12/9)

    • Take an ‘ornament’ from the Christmas tree in the Commons. Buy a gift to brighten someone’s life.

  • Christmas Families (through 12/9)

    • Gather your group, class, friends, Circle, etc. and ‘adopt’ a family for Christmas. We will match you with a family—contact Connie Gottwald.

  • Invitation to Advent (Wed 11/28 6pm)

    • Share a light meal at church with your family and create an Advent wreath to take home for your own Advent practice. Sign up here by 11/25.

  • Decorating the Church for the Season (Thurs 11/29)

    • Take down decorations Thurs 12/27. Let Cynthia Haw know you want to join in.

  • CARITAS (12/1 - 12/8)

    • Offer hospitality, food, and shelter at our church to women and children experiencing homelessness.

  • Silence and Other Surprising Invitations of Advent

    • (12/2, 9 & 16) 9:45am Sunday class, or initiate your own small group study of this Enuma Okoro book. Take four weeks to think about what God’s vision might be for you and those whose lives you touch!

  • Advent’s Great Expectations

    • (12/2, 9 & 16) 9:45am Sunday class led by Rev. John Miller, Ph.D., retired rector of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.

  • The Blessed Sounds of Christmas (Tues 12/4 10:30am)

    • Experience the sounds of the season at this Presbyterian Women program featuring Sandy Collins, Maya Collins, Anne O’Byrne, and Suzanne Riehl. Brunch follows.

  • Family Christmas Caroling (Wed 12/12 5pm)

    • Meet at church for dinner, then caroling around the Richmond area to homebound members. Contact Suzanne Riehl to learn more.

  • After Advent

    • Church office closed Tuesday 12/25 & Wednesday 12/26

    • Sunday 12/30 - 10am Combined Worship Service. No Sunday School
